Festive Meets - Monday 3rd January - Little Glenshee
By car leaving Myre at 09:00
For those of you who don't know. Little Glenshee lies about 12km west of Luncarty.  To get there leave the A9 at Luncarty (the Battleby turn-off) and head west on the B8063 for about 9km, then take a minor road north-west for a few kilometres to a small car park just before a sharp bend at GR989339 (map 52). The walk takes us northwards to Creag na Criche (a Marilyn! - 456m) and then north and east to Craig Gibbon (384m). We can take a different route back via Loch Tullybelton.  Total distance is about 12km and we should do it in 4 hours. 

Next Day Meet - Sunday 9th January  - The Fungle Path
By bus, leaving from Sauchieburn Hotel, Luthermuir at 8:00.  High Tea at the hotel at 17:00. 

Next Open Meeting - Monday 10th January
in Queen Street Tavern, Forfar at 7.30pm, followed by illustrated talk. Arrangements for the "Mont Blanc 2010 ascent" have fallen through.   The talk will now be presented by the president.  "The ascent of Mount Fuji by NCR - 1992".  Many won't have seen it and those who did have probably forgotten all about it by now.
